Cobor 1040 is a powder used for brazing of common metals alloys i.e., copper, steel, brass, and silver (except aluminum).

Application
It is recommended for brazing and braze-welding operations of steel-brass, copper-silver by oxy-acetylene flame.

Directions for use
It can be used:
- as powder,
- as paste: by mixing with water,
- with the hot-rodding technique: by dipping a warm brazing rod into the powder.
